The church reserves the exclusive right to determine who shall be a member. New members may be accepted by a vote of the church after completing the appropriate membership class (New Members Class) and requesting membership in any of the following ways:

1. Profession of faith and baptism and successful completion of the New Members Class.
2. Letter from a church of like faith (Southern Baptist Church).
3. By their profession of faith of Jesus Christ, and having been baptism by a proper mode (emmersion) at a different church.


Upon successful completion of the new members class and a positive vote of the body of the Cabool Second Baptist Church, the candidate shall sign the roll and assume rights and responsibilities of membership

The new members class usually takes place on Saturday mornings periodically throughout the year. Speak to a deacon for more information.
